It's all good! It's all green!

And they are already doing it!

New to the Propville Directory... green... it's a special demarcation to help you choose the vendors who are applying green practices in their business.

Did you know that Lee Utterbach Camera runs the shop on solar? How about Suite Treatments, their trucks are running on biodiesel and Teacher With the Bus? Biodiesel of course!

**Hey vendors! Are running a green business? If we have not marked your listing that way, please let us know. We'll be happy to post it and mention you in the next newsletter.

Special for Photographers and Stagers.

Sometimes you need quantity and sometimes, it's all about quality, authenticity and detail.

In search of the perfect table leg? An urn that wasn't mass-produced or seen in 3 other catalogs?

Heather & Co. is the perfect place to find distinctive antiques. They have an expansive inventory of extraordinary European pieces. Are you looking for something specific; French crystal chandelier, an Italian Renaissance chair, exquisite framed art from the 19th Century, or something more general like sofas and armoires, garden or fireplace accessories? Heather has a wealth of knowledge and can consult on historical accuracy for her clients. You can reach them at (415) 551-0011 or www.heatherandcompanyatiques.com

Client and Staff Appreciation?

How will you thank them for their work this holiday season?

Bus Tour 9.15.07...... Thanks & Pix

Here's some of what you missed.
(If you were there, read on to see if your picture is up!!)

The second Dog & Pony Bus Tour® was more fun than you should be allowed to have at work! We boarded the stealth gray bus at North Berkeley BART and had a quick hop down to Douglas Morrison Theatre, not only for a tech and shop tour, but a little costume liquidation retail therapy. Santa suit anyone? Then off to Goal Line Studio, one of the last sound stages in the bay area, lavishly appointed and perfect for film, video, print and events. On the way, we heard from marketing coach Allison Bliss, with time management tips applicable to small business and service providers.

Stop #3 landed us at the red-carpet roll out for Custom Scenic. Guests were gifted with custom tool pouches for set and installation work. Thanks Eddie!!! Then off to Mannequin Madness, Judi & Jay, we just love you! Back to Berkeley, with speaker Andrea Potts, a local print producer and creator of the "Own fine art before you're 60", an annual show reinforcing that mission.

After lunch, a little hardware and gear at DTC. Fun to have the run of the house! Then off to Trove furnishings and Ethnic Arts, both at 10th & Gilman (with Parking!) The day ended with a beautiful a' capella song from Jean Fox, a local hair & make-up artist, gifts bags and presents from all of the vendors, including Debbie Lynn's Costume and Gassers Camera and hugs all around.

We'd like to thank Theatre Bay Area for helping spread the word, Teacher with the Bus for his incredible kindness, patience and expert driving in challenging situations, and Jarreau Lucien Cross for some great images, captured all day long. If you were on the bus and need contact info for someone you met, please call us, we're happy to be business conduit! Be sure to check the Dog & Pony Pages for the next event.
