Our Bay Area film offices at work
The Locations show 2007
Greater San Francisco Bay
Area film commissions--from San Francisco to Monterey--showed off their
locations and film assets at the Locations Tradeshow in Santa Monica
in April.
Locations is the key tradeshow dedicated to
world-wide film sites. Approximately 3,400 film industry professionals
came to the show, looking for potential film, commercial, TV and still
shoot locations.
In the California pavilion area were the Berkeley
Film Office, Monterey County Film Commission, San Francisco Film Commission,
San Mateo Film Commission, and the Vallejo/Solano County Film Office.
The Bay Area film commissions work together to assist film productions
and help them find their locations within California.
Check with your local film
office for info about locations for your project. They work collaboratively
so you can have an instant network.
It's free! All the local film offices are listed in The Propville
Directory;
keyword "film commissions".
