Nancie Marsalis from the make-up chair……”Just
a quick little note let you know that an independent film I worked on
has just become available on DVD. I was Louise Fletcher’s
personal makeup and hair artist for the film. Shot entirely in HD, her
character is eccentric, wears too much rouge and powder, bad lipstick,
and has a great eccentric friend; Cicely Tyson. It was a real treat to
work with Louise.
“Fat Rose
and Squeaky”, stars Academy Award winning Louise Fletcher
& Academy Award nominee Ms. Cicely Tyson. It is a
wonderful film that addresses issues of friendship and
aging. If you want to weigh in on the subject of “Aging in
America”, there is a social website set up for the film at See a
trailer of the movie…learn a little more.” Great job Nancie!
